On TV last night it was mentioned that among the reasons given for suspecting the Russians was that the software was used contained Russian characters and there was no activity on Russian holidays.

It's not like it's the first time they've acted on minimal info. The Sony hack was attributed by the FBI to North Korea, and the Obama administration accepted that as fact. At the time some in the US IT community thought it was more likely an inside job. Sony had just laid off a large number of employees, disproportionately female, and there were several among them who would have been able to access the Sony systems. They had reaason to be agrieved and the ability to do something about it.

and everyone knows Russian computer hackers never work on Lennin Day, it's against union rules.

It shouldn't come as a surprise but Trump is reportedly not planning on doing much work as president. When he was talking to Kasich about his being VP, Kasich was told that he'd be doing most of the work.

I guess it's the VPE that's attending most of the security briefings because Trump isn't. He's too busy hosting Kanye West at Trump Tower or misspelling Twitter messages. "Ive got lot's of words, I've got the best words".

Some people seem hopeful that the Electors will give Trump the arse card and Hillary will get the job. That's not even a remote possibility. What they could do would be replace Trump with another Republican, but they haven't given any indication that they have the guts, or the smarts, to do that.

Did Donald Trump know exactly what he was saying when he claimed the election was rigged?

Was it actually rigged in "his" favour? - and everybody simply assumed he meant Clinton?

A lot of his comments were curried in that vein - that he could do no wrong he would still get elected no matter what he said or did? - if so he was right all along!
