Isn't there some interesting quirky thing to do with the Japanese legal system compared to the western one where you are automatically assumed guilty until proven innocent?
Or is that a myth?

November 13
Spent 2 nights in the nick. Released on bail and as far as the prosecutor is concerned if she can get 100 % conviction she will go for it and I get fined or a stint in the big house
If not I negotiate with the 2 faggot's ( no disrespect to actual gay people)
The lawyer is about 150000 and the I'm sorry money will be any where from 2 to 300 000 plus any medical bills ( insurance doesn't cover getting a boot up the arsenal)
Still that's aint so bad

I just read up a bit on the japanese legal system
They can keep you and question you without charges or access to a lawyer for 23 days in Japan.
They also have a 99% conviction rate.
Shit.........

Was chatting with a distant relative who's currently living in Thailand. Their road carnage is legendary, and foreigners are a legal target even if they did nothing wrong. The police attitude is that if you hadn't been in their country the accident wouldn't have happened, so therefore you're at fault. He reckons that if you tangle with one of the nutters on scooters, you just drive away fast. Stopping will open up a major can of law worms.

That is the rule in some Arab countries too. Add the inshallah thing where they don't worry about a red light cause they'll get through the intersection if it's God's will and driving there sounds just too risky.
