Don't see any of those countries on the banned list - and these are not potential threats - these are actual attacks.

There have been non-fatal attacks from citizens of these countries:

Britain (ban them?) Afghanistan, Nigeria, Guinea, Iran and Somalia (the last two are on Trump's list).

If Trump wanted to ban citizens of the countries which have actually carried out the jihadi terrorist attacks on US soil, the list would be Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Pakistan, Britain, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Guinea, Iran and Somalia.

This ban looks a lot like posturing - and has bugger all to do with who actually carried out the attacks.

Possibly - could also be something to do with following through on what he said he would do.

Of course. The countries listed in the ban are those in which Trump has no business interests. Which illustrates why the President is supposed to relinquish his business assets to avoid the appearance of conflicts of interest. Of course he says he has handed his business interests over to his adult sons.

According to the Constitution (which Trump has clearly not read) no President is permitted to accept emoluments (payments) from any overseas source. Legal action is being taken against Trump as he is believed to be receiving money from overseas sources. One defence offered is that he is not receiving the payments, his business is.

Talk about wanting to have your cake and eat too.

The list of countries that America is viewed as a terrorist would be much longer.

may be - where did he say that he would temporarily ban people from those countries on his list?

I could accept if he had said he would temporarily ban citizens from the countries where their citizens have attacked the US.

He also said the US should shut down theinetrnet until he could work outr what was going on - don't see any follow through on that

He did say he would put a temporary halt on Immigration - I can't remember if he specified the countries - but TBH - I think the ban is 90 days? This isn't like he is stopping it permenantly (although I think the Syrian ban is indefinite at this point)

I tend to think he is making an example of those countries, in an effort to persuade the so-called 'moderate muslim countries' to start taking the problem of Extremism seriously.

I think the Internet comment was in reference to specific areas - It's been taken out of Context - he didn't say he would cut off the internet entirely - but that he would need to talk with people like Bill Gates, to see what options there are, in terms of restricting criminals using the Internet to commit further criminal acts.

You'll have to ask the Obama administration, apparently they come up with the list back in 2011, you know after they fucked over Libya and the like.

Seen as terrorism is a crock shit, this restriction of movement of refugees should not be taken at face value.

Could be to stop the flow of fresh meat for the Clinton pedos?

simple question, why did the Soviets modify a air-raid shelter into a gas chamber? what was their intention?

    Nope, no help needed.
And you're clearly in no position to say who is indeed in need of help.
If anyone needs help it's the Clinton pedos.
Trump knows what they've been upto.

Well, after Trump's rant at Malcolm Turnbull, I bet Bill English isn't looking forward to any incoming calls...Wonder if he can arrange things so Paula takes it...

Given the post call rant on twitter, and the notice served on Iran, I hope someone in the Iranian Govt has a twitter feed.
They may wake up and find he's declared war via a tweet....

Well actually, the triangle symbol is most certainly there on the Ratcliffe website.

    Check for yourself.

Whether it indicates anything or not is anyone's guess.

    It's a bit weird though.
