The Republicans are trying to blow smoke about Uranium One. A Russian company bought an interest in an American company, they did not buy any uranium. Why would they? Most of the worlds uranium comes from one of the former soviet satellites, Turkmenistan, Tajikastan, or one of the other stans. The Republicans are suggesting that Clinton was up to no good although she may not have even been Secretary of State at that time.

The USA, like NZ, has a foreign inverstment watchdog and the members of that committee were unanimous in approving the purchase. One of the nine members said if the same request was made today it would be passed just the same.

So what is going on? Mueller, the special investigator into Trump's Russian connections started making arrests and frightened the shit out of Trump and his handlers. They can't sack Mueller without creating an uproar. Mueller's boss, Jefferson Beuregard Sessions III, can't sack Mueller because Sessions recused himself from everything to do with Trump's Russian connection. The end game is to get Mueller to recuse himself because he was head of the FBI at the time of the Uranium One deal thereby creating a conflict of interest. That's drawing a long bow because the FBI normally has nothing to do with overseas investments. It's all fairly desperate far fetched stuff.

Did that website carry the story about HRC's child sex slave ring underneath the pizza place? Or the one about NASA kidnapping cjildren and sending them to Mars where their organs were harvested? It's about the same level.

On a US based forum I belong to, there's another one like him posting every crackpot revelation that comes out.
There's a witty canadian who simply posts pizza based gifs as an answer to them.

Are you saying that what was posted is implausible?

Not a Trump supporter or a believer - just trying to sort through the flood of trash like everybody else seems to do.
American politics would be real comedy if it didn't effect and kill so many innocent people!

If I still drank - and cared enough - I would do a revision of that adding the current buzzword - The "Deep State".

What I was taking issue with is the complete rubbish being pushed about how Clinton was paid millions to sell uranium to the Russians. That is errant rubbish. I wasn't sure if she was actually Secretary of State at the time. Apparently she was, but the Secretary is not normally involved directly in the process, and anyway is but one of nine on the committee.

(Hopefully) and amazingly, here is Shep Smith of Fox News. The Fox viewers are up in arms and want him sacked because of this. The dim fucks would rather have fairy stories than facts. God forrbid anyone would disturb their misconceptions.

Believers of what? That there's a game and a war being played out that is way beyond you and I to fathom? Yeah, I buy that given the evidence to date. Has there every been child slavery? Yes. Has a POTUS ever received a Nobel Peace Prize for being the bloodiest POTUS in modern history? Yes. on Has their ever been human trafficking for the purposes of providing sexual services? Yes. Is there a link between all three? Probably, but they all exist in their own right.
