Cheers, I guess if you are not eating then wiping your arse is not so much of a problem either![]()
Could always do weekend rides instead of riding around the city.

It would be a shame to give it away completely. Have you considered downsizing to something a bit more manageable?
Anyway, mend quickly.

I hope you aren't suggesting what I think you are suggesting -
Not at all, but after living in the Philippines for nearly 6 years and seeing very few bikes over 150cc I've changed my thinking. While I currently ride a 115cc Suzuki, (purely due to financial constraints), my ideal bike for here would be in the 400cc range, KTM Duke would be the ideal for here, as anything under 400cc (nominal) is verboten on the expressways. They are being built just up the road a little way. Or even a Vulcan S would be easier to ride than an M50.
BTW, I will be 76 next month and have no intention of hanging up my helmet in the foreseeable future.

It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.
69 and a half isn't that old. However, I'd suggest that before you walk away from riding forever, you might want to consider the match of bike to your weight, strength, and skills. A little rider training an mentoring might help with your road skills, your planning, and your reaction to unplanned events.

2018 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk with a launch control and 530ish kW hellcat supercharged hemi. All straight from the factory, and fully street legal. Factory 0 to 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds. Available in NZ now.
Hennessy is about to launch a package for it, taking it to a 1,012 hp (factory is a weak 707 hp) that will also feature 969 lb-ft of torque launching the Trackhawk from 0-60 mph in just 2.8.
a quick google will list the 0-60 times for various bikes up to 3.5secs - there are quite a few
