Start price of 4k on that RGV. Wonder what it will make?

If you could get it for around that it'd be good buying for sure.

He doesn't mention engine work or PV service which is paramount.
    Actually I don't think I've ever ridden a 22. My 500 is largely 22 parts. I've ridden 21 and a mates 23. The 23 was cool. Derestricted dynod 60hp with chambers fat curve. Still felt like a 250 .

Agreed. Except that wasn't Steve McQueen who jumped the fence on his Zundap 750 side valve flat twin, or whatever that Triumph was supposed to be. And when I just re-watched that Youtube clip, that fence was sooo much smaller than it looked in 1963.

I thought it may be the carb inlet - but alas it appears to be fake news

McQueen did most of the ride scenes but the jump itself (by common belief & understanding) was done by his race coach/mentor & mate Bud Ekins. McQueen wasn't allowed due to the insurers for the film not wanting any problems etc if the scene went belly-up. The TR6 was used because it was a shitload lighter than using an authentic Kraut bike.
There's reference to it all on multiple sites and where the bike currently is and who owns it now
