Interesting because neither Pete or I never specified that attack.

It sounds like you wish to cherry pick information.
I know the UN and OPCW do know better than both you and Pete though about the use of chemical weapons by Assad regime.
I also know Assad claimed to not have them until it was proved he did I also know Assad has refused to allow OPCW access to their flight data.
I also know that Assads regimes explanations of most of the attacks are not plausible

So if America was happy to launch a retaliatory strike in 2017 for an attack that they have no proof of who the perpetrator was, and they launch another retaliatory strike in 2018 for yet another attack that they have no proof on, do you see a pattern starting to form here?

Yes you are so keen to change the frame work of an argument that didn't even involve you at all, as its pretty clear that the Assad regime has previously used actually chemical weapons in Syria which was the basis of my challenge of the statement Pete had made.
Your reasons for doing so likely revolve around your constant paranoid delusions that Russia is great and the USA is some kind of "evil empire" deeply involved in some sort of "Jewish plot" to rule the world.
This is liked why you never criticise Russian or any terrorists yourself.
That said Trumps a paranoid narcissistic idiot (much like yourself) ,only he's better educated and successful of course. Who should never have been put in charge of a nuclear arsenal or the most powerful military in the world, much the same as Putin never should have been either.

Could the reason be that Syrian Government that Russia props up houses their only military base outside the Former USSR.
Also why would it be that even that so many the ISil fighters are actually from Russia and the former USSR.

It was proven the Iraq had weapons of mass destruction ie Nerve Gas. Was that not mentioned on any of Steve and Oldies websites.
