The Parks Dept have cameras permanently recording views of that area. They were shut down during this event. That doesn't happen very often, although it did happen during Trump's inauguration - once it bacame apparent the crowds were very small.

Which raises another question. Trump's inauguration was very modest as such things go, yet in comparison it it was relatively expensive? Yeah, It's not only the TDS sufferers who have are wondering where the millions went.

And not a single US flag was seen in that area.... yet I can see atleast 5 mexican ones at just a glimpse of that photo.
