The evangelical preachers spout insane nonsense but their followers don't even question why their leader needs more than one private jet.

Trump isn't helping. Russia was not a hoax. Ukraine is not a hoax. Climate change is definitely not a Chinese hoax. Still, we have people here with reading skills at such a basic level that they are sucked in by this crap.

Depends on what you mean by Climate Change Hoax.

If you mean reducing our reliance on Fossil Fuels, Better Recycling and coming up with Alternate practical options for Plastics - I'm fully onboard with this.

If you mean the Demented Shrieking from Closet Communists, indoctrinating children declaring that the end is Nigh - then not so much, I'd be more in the Donald Camp.

However, as an interesting thought:

What if... By engaging in a Trade War with China and making their Industrial sector less competitive through artificial means, it brought manufacturing back into the west, thus reducing pollution as a result of having the goods processed in a region that has much stricter environmental controls/laws?

After all, China is the biggest Polluter on the Planet (with multiple hilarious observations to be had)

Donald Trump dies and goes to hell

Holy multi-leveled satire batman... the kids don't grasp that which Woodman has stated. Their stupidity is exactly that of the current business as usual crowd, only greener. None of them address the fundamental problem of production creating the gases they're concerned about and the environmental destruction that goes with it that without doubt leads to a changing climate. Greta touches on it, but the kids, and the kids who came before them who are controlling the narrative for the current kids simply by being kids and spouting the same shite they did in the 60's, but the current kids (the "leaders") have no clue as to why the gases are in the environment in the first place. It's a tragedy of the commons... and then when they do figure out what to do, they have to get it past the general public at large. The threads on here would be amusing though.
