If he'd actually stayed coherent and had a discussion with the worker and talked through the issues that Biden thinks needs to be addressed vs what concerns the Blue Collar worker has, it could have been a Major Win for him.
I think a lot of people (from all sides - myself included) were impressed at him telling someone they were full of Shit - as you said, a bit of Spunk and a willingness to engage with someone in a blunt and frank manner, he needed to back that up though and I think he failed.
