Well new bike and only free day is Sunday and the weather is of course pants. Ok need a garage day.
But the laundry door and lock is sticking really badly, and the pantry door hinge goes Ping snap. Wife comes in. Washing machine throwing errors and not starting. Laundry door takes ages to plane down and recess the 2 locks even with power planer.

Geez will things stop fukin breaking?,.?

It's a little weird to be stopping people who can't use round-a-bouts & asking their voting preference, but while you're stopping them to ask their voting preferences how bout to tech them about round-a-bout use at the sametime.

I'll have a small one. Bureaucratic bastard stuffups.....

I went to my GP about 4 weeks back for a full prescription renewal. Fine got the usual stuff, you don't want to know, you'll all be there soon enough...

BUT...I was having a little pain from the neck dissection op site - so asked for some Codeine. Got a script for a small quantity. Included with the 90 day script for the rest...

About a week later the op site goes from tolerable to not so much - and I start using the Codeine rapidly. Now onto the 3rd and final refill.

The surgical team at a followup say, you need more - and prescribe it. Fine.

BUT - I can't access that script until after the 90 day period of the GP's one expires - 1st week of bloody November.

I estimate I'll be without Codeine for around 6 weeks unless something can be done.
Seeing the GP tomorrow. If he can't fix it I'll ask for a substitute - the story of pensioners on Morphine on TV the other day was attractive. We'll see.

I'm assuming the pharmacist is going by the rules. Possibly the GP's fault for including it with the 90 day med schedule. He should have known better IMO.

So 4 weeks without a poo then?

I'd be going for the morphine though, none of this low grade opiates business

Nah, better living with the right chemicals. Yes, the Morphine does sound attractive. Been on it before and seem able to get off it easily enough.
Motorcycles seem to be my only addiction.

Edit - Fixed with a phone call. i watched him do it and said "I could have done that and said i was you " Then realised the pharmacy had caller ID....

Then the pharmacy couldn't find the staffer who'd taken the call - for about 15 minutes.....

Sorry to quote the whole lot but context, you know.

Spoke to my dad in Blighty a couple of days ago, he's in his 70's and has been suffering tinnitus (ringing in the ears in case my ituses are confused).
My first question was what did the doctor say? Nuffin, dad is on a waiting list for the doctor to call him, not a visit, a phone call. 6 weeks wait for a conversation he will struggle to hear.

In other news. Someone who should know posited that Yamaha's supply problems in Yerp and other places is due to their cargo being on a certain ship called the Evergiven. Far canal! Ring a bell?

    Apparently that's why I can't test ride a T7.

Yeah, at least we can physically get to see a doctor. Even if they might not be competent.

Don't talk to me about the Ever Given. I've got carbs ordered and paid for from Europe. The bastard supplier won't answer emails and the only chance i haven't done my dough is that they were on that ship. The timing and route were right - but the cunt won't talk to me.
The cargo is now becoming available but I'm not holding my breath that he'll magically now tell me they're on the way.

    Unbelievable innit?
One Captain watching pron while on the piss and the whole of motorcycledom comes grinding to a halt.

That reminds me. I need a new Yuasa battery, what's the bets that is part of the cargo, too?

Doctor communication that's not good enough.

At Middlemore ATM pretty good service so far.

That certain ship is being charged $$$.
The ships owner is apparantly charging extra.
Those with insurance seem to be covered.
    Those without aren't going to.
Seems like catch 22 as a lot of cargo is consolidated.

Anyway that's the story I heard.

By the time it gets here you would be looking at next years model surely
