Many moons ago I worked in a large office building and there was a similar problem. If you were going to unlock a filing cabinet you could see a spark jump from the key to the lock. I blamed the cheap carpets.

If yer smart you learn to tap things with your knuckles as less nerves there and once dissipated the charge delta is gone. I can imagine Bridges would never pick that up.

Aircon makes the humidity low which is a better environment for electro static charging.

Do you rate Judith Collins or Simon bridges or Todd Mullers Honesty ahead of Jacinda Aderns? Their leadership there respect from their own party or supporters ahead of the PM?

Voters were asked if they trust Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and an overwhelming 79.4 percent said "yes" while just 17 percent said "no", and few didn't know.
Collins, on the other hand, had just 30.8 percent say they trust her while 49.7 percent say they do not trust her, and for 19.6 percent of voters the jury's still out.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is still a clear lead in the preferred prime minister 45.5 percent Collins behind at 8.2 percent.

National voters, rate Seymour on 43.1 percent, which is more than Collins on 38.5 percent, while 18.4 percent didn't know.

when just under 2/3 of National voters have no faith in Collins i would say that pretty telling that hardly anyone wants to hear or trusts what she says.

I think every would-be National voter has been quite vocal about how absolutely Useless and limp-wristed National has been - so this argument is a non-argument.
