Some may not grasp what arseholes some of these US politicians are. Rand Paul, well known charlatan, has made a career of taking dubious positions. He has a history of voting no on disaster relief, that's the job of charities. Now that it's his state that's hit he has written to the President requesting assistance. He's not alone, Cruz voted against assistance for New York after a hurricane but, he voted yes on assistance for Texas.

Paul is lucky Biden, unlike Trump, offers assistence to any state not just those that voted for him.

The federal assistance Trump offered was unidentified people, plain clothes, in unmarked vehicles, kidnapping people off the street. Nothing legal about, that but not unusual for Trump.

Isnt it odd that in al these protest for BLm that numbers at 2000 separate mostly peaceful protests over the whole of the US how many police officers were killed yet one trump endorsed storming of the congress leads to police dying.
It's a bit of a uncomfortable truth. But the right doesn't like the storming of the capital encouraged by trump being mentioned.
