I refer to the Mueller congress interviews, and I saw a serious man that knows his shit (More than any well read IT guy in NZ could possibly know about russian senanigans) and he was genuinely concerned.

Is it reasonable to be concerned about Russia? I mean the history of the 20th century would certainly concur.

However, with the ongoing lawsuit, it appears the supposed 'Russian connection' was not only illegally obtained (Unauthorized network access is a Federal crime), but according to the lawyers billed hours, was paid for by the Clinton campaign.

So the 'Serious Concern' was based on a lie that was based on illegal activity.

You'll forgive me if I don't place a whole lot of faith in it.

But more to that, let's look at the empirical evidence - remember the claim was that Trump was the Russian pick for President and that 'Trump was Putin's Puppet'. The Crimea annexation - that was in 2014, and the current Ukraine situation is now.

Both happened under Democrat Presidents, neither happened under Trump.

As I KEEP saying these clown political parties in the US are absolutely as bad as each other. As much as you will never admit a conservative party to be a clown show. The Repubs are not even a conservative parties arsehole at this point. They are a Trumpisym party.

There's one key difference between the Democrats and the Republicans though - the Republicans don't want to destroy what the US is foundationally, whereas the Democrats have been swallowed by Woke ideology which traces it's lineage all the way back to Marx. Those ideas are in direct opposition to what the US was founded on.

And that difference happens to be key - I'll accept, for the sake of the argument, every critique and criticism you can make about the Republicans - and I'll even (just this once) concede every single one as being 100% true. Even if I make that concession, they are still not as bad as the current Democrats.
