I remember when it was one way traffic to Aus. Full planes going over ... empty coming home.

Until many started needing Hospital care ... that was free to Aussie citizens. Not to residents.

Interesting, now seems to have been amended to 'Wellington City Council has now confirmed are flushing into the city’s wastewater sewer network', almost as if someone has pointed out how easy it was to figure out. And the entire paragraph about how appalled everyone is about how the harbour is being treated has been removed.

That's almost getting into 1984 territory, where unless you've kept a copy yourself to prove that you're not going mad, the current version of the truth is the only version that ever existed....

What else can they do? Keep posting the previously incorrect version? Sure they might have done better research prior to the original going out but it's not like the media are welcome on the occupied ground. And, until the connection was made to the sewer, the waste WOULD have ended up in the harbour via the stormwater system.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Perhaps noting that they had previously published incorrect or misleading information?

Or would that mean admitting that they were either too lazy to research properly, or were more interested in a good headline than actual facts.

Actually you usually do see if they retract information and correct something written at the bottom.

Good spotting I never got chance to see early version. But I believe you, I’ve seen stuff and the herald doing that before too. Rarely do they ever print an honest note of we made an error earlier.

A real red flag is when a MAJOR incident has just “ occurred “ and there’s is no mention of WHAT TIME that X did Y atvlocation Z....., it’s like they just guess the news instead of actual reporting....

Back to topic, why are crybabies at Council trying to involve Police in a civil matter of planning bylaw breaches? Police are not running orvmanaging an event, they are not landlords or leasees....
Cops prob think it’s a prank call when they ring....

    Probably a combination of both.
No incident that Ive witnessed with my own eyes, ever married up with the media reported version, not once.

Looks like the Feral component of this 'Peaceful' demonstration are getting their point across now. Setting fires and using pitchforks. That'll work.

It upsets me to hear there are still children in this mix.

I feel sorry for the Police.
