pretty radical clean up today, while it's not great is there any other way they could have done it at the end of the day?. My partners work has sent out a memo saying all rail travellers will be offered free taxis home, as the railway station is not far away and has toilets there.
why is it at every camp there's broken deck chairs...

Seems the tree that I planted when I started this thread might be not far off the mark. February 11.

It's fruits are hanging off the branches now. Should have been chain sawed down right at the start. Just saying.

"Protestors" found it necessary to destroy a childrens playground? How is that supposed to relate to Covid mandates?

Yep. These clever guys are throwing bricks at the Police now.

That'll work too. Their families and Whanau must be proud of them.

Excellent work by Police on the darkest day in NZ history.

I say darkest day as there’s no coming back from this level of violence (by the protestors) which like every other escalation in criminal activity in NZ only normalises it next time around. Feral anti govt types will likely tag along on every issue now so future protests even of ‘approved’ issues will need good security....,

It was very interesting to see what type of people were left over after the herd was thinned from the previous large cross section of NZ society....

While overall it was a shocking display it only mirrored what certain feral elements resort to in working class suburbia when parties etc get out of hand (our trusty media never reports real crime levels)...

In hindsight we shoulda seen the fires coming whether on purpose or accident. A huge pile of disposable plastic accomodation that no one was prob going to take home (rock concerts have major probe with lazy millennials not taking tents home)...

One highlight when I switched to Te Karere news their reporters were at ground level not hiding in balconey, they had some good shots.

Crazy how many idiots were openly committing arson (definate jail term) knowing they are being filmed by media and cops with top of line zoom lenses. The gene pool really is shalllow...

Or even had a discussion at start would have taken wind out out of it. Just look at average episode of policecten 7 when cops turn up to some total munter bashing his wife they often don’t judge just atrest him straight away, they establish a dialogues and say hey mate having a bad day etc?

Jacinda got what she wanted, her press release was mostly about how disinformation lead the protestors here when she should have just talked about this behaviour is not acceptable. It’s quite clear my earlier predictions will come true soon, access to Internet will be govt controlled.... to stop disinformation and oh Labour Party youth camp scandals being talked about...
Never mind that the majority of people opposed to mandates weren’t about any conspiracies they just want to decide what goes in their bodies.

Ah but that wasn't the protestors, they are blaming Antifa. This protest started out as copycat, monkey see monkey do, and it's finishing the same way. Fuckwits.

Martyn Bradbury reported that the police were firing rubber bullets at the protestors. I'd have thought that newsworthy, but it doesn't seem to have made the news. This whole farce was based on misinformation, right to the end.

    .
watching one of the brick throwers he was still at it for an hour, almost single handedly. if there was rubber bullets he wouldn't have lasted that long at all.
