Still, it looks nicely restored, but I'm curious about the low k's for an old bike. Has it been sitting around in a garage somewhere or maybe it was wrecked and rebuilt over time.

there;s only about one piccie that shows detail, and that is the dash and the foam surround is squashed so i don't know how you can say that? looks like they threw the front brakes and pipes away so refurbished rather than restored would be a better description yoo.

Not sure it's worth 90k though. The Classic bike market is one I always keep my eye on.
this is where I have to say... how is a bike with SFA miles on it worth so much? take your mx asuming its a stroker... well if anyone was wanting to fire it up they would have to do a full engine strip down, bearings will be coroded, seals britel sorry but id sooner have a mint bike with milage on it, the RG5 in OZ... will only sell to a colector that will have a very expensive static model, Im not about that.

Can't think where else to post this and it's not worth a new thread, so, here we are.

A little dicky bird told me of a CBR 250r up for sale for $2000, runs fine, plastics a bit meh and needs a vin.

It's just the right size for my G/f and would look lovely in me shed.

    Thoughts?

That's about the best you can realistically hope for on one of those. The market is relatively of what a good one goes for.

    Are you special needs?
The only way to store a 2 stroke long term, is to fill cases and cylinders with oil. Any other solution leeds to perished seals and fucked bores.
Best leave the plugs out so as not to break anyone's knees when they try to kick it over 20 years down the track.

I'm seriously thinking about pursuing it, always had a thing for the wee 90's sprotbikes despite being way too big for them.
You would look a bit odd on one, too. How's your knees?

What are you talking about?. At any given trail ride you see about 40. They didn't change much.

I saw Bill ride it at one Burt. Had a yarn to him about it too. Yes, all the good bits and very quick. But not a ride for a novice.
Bill's a pretty solid guy and watching him it was a handful. And you couldn't build it for that price now.
