You might enjoy this. The Krays were most famous but there was another family that was even more ruthlessly tough

And yes Pritch that Yemen series was definitely a great eye opener to an unknown culture.

This chap is taking it slow through Vietnam on little Himalayan bike but finds some spectacularly interesting places. Good reminder it’s about the journey not the bike.

Currently watching Sara on Netflix. Italian dubbed in English. A former Police officer is notified that her son has been killed in an apparent suicide. She is not happy with that explanation and things develop from there. The body count is climbing at a rate of about one per episode. John Wick it ain't but worth a watch.

    Next up Brassic.

    watching "off she goes" youtube

I've been watching the New Zealand tour by Off She Goes on YouTube. It's enjoyable watching NZ and seeing NZ roads seen through the eyes of someone from Norway. Considering how amazing the scenery is in Norway, its pleasing to see someone enjoy their tour of NZ. Some really sketchy roads out there... I think it was Skippers road that was on the edge of a cliff, gravel, and no rail guards.

MobLand - typical Guy Ritchie production with Tom Hardy in fine form, also Pierce Brosnan & Helen Mirren. Binged the whole series (10 eps) yesterday/last night. More Gangs of London stuff. Also Dept Q is good as well and will have a second season
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

    I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I also got the distinct impression that Pierce and Helen are enjoying themselves in their roles far too much, playing the 'Bad Guys'.

    Either way - highly recommended.

Also I hope we are all watching MURDERBOT. From the best science fiction series I have read in literal years, engaging cast, great FX. Absolutely recommended

    it's long, but thoroughly engaging.

    Topics range from:

Early Life, Life in the Militar, Life in the SAS, various door-kicking operations, Life with Delta Force, Mental Health, Suicide, Being screwed over by the Government etc.

I've just about finished watching it.

    Highly recommended.

I suspect a lot of you are getting this guy in your feed already judging by other forums. Seems to be a jack of all trades with a lifestyle block buried in forestry somewhere in Nelson region. He’s always repairing the most broken arsed digger/truck/tractor you could buy at auction then repairing slip ravaged roads his property.
In this episode it’s an old school dirtbike trek to some whale bones on beach.
You can’t help but respect this guys knack for fixing stuff and getting it done.

Nelson is a city in the Tasman district. nelson bays can be an area but MartyT lives in Marlborough. Like you he's not far from the "ferry's."
