Seriously now.....if you need a chat PM me....I r a good listener
No body move... I dropped my brain
They have been testing my liver and kidneys amongst other things... the nurse tested something else.
They dont think it looks good for the liver sadly and basically told me surgery ain't an option, just exercise like mad and get super fit..... and that MIGHT work, or otherwise I will just die with washboard abs.
I laughed when the Indian Doctor told me I could put myself to good use and be a suicide bomber!!
I used to drink my age in pints and smoked 60 ciggies a day.
I'll have a glass of wine or two beers once a month and I haven't smoked since May 2006.
I don't eat foods with high levels of sugar - but I can't give up my red meat.
Hope it's not too painful a lifestyle change and hope you stay fit and riding - I want to take the piss outta yer huge back tyre in person someday!![]()
As you said to me, and so many others did... doctors tell you the worst case possible. You're not going to die!! Just look after yourself and make sure you make sensible decisions from now on and you will live a long and happy life.
I guess in a way you are lucky not to have to have surgery
I'm gonna make it so PC
They know I am an ex-cop and I didn't want bullshit.
The doctors did a good job of being honest in telling me it didn't look good as the results were "very poor". I appreciated that. I hate bullshitters.
Having any chance is all I need to know to go for it and beat it. Odds are made to be beaten.... you know that about me my friend. I never give up and a "slight chance you could improve it" is all I needed to hear.
Yeah but they told me my results were very poor as well and rushed me off to get hunks of me cut out. They couldn't not tell you all the things that will happen.
And, if they hadn't of scared you then you wouldn't be as motivated to get fit and healthy.
Look at it postively! Glass 3/4's full and all that!
I'm gonna make it so PC
aah, so THATS what you didnt tell me over pm... but dude... you'll be right! just take care of yourself... sometimes i wish indy wouldn't drink so much!!
