What are good p2p file sharing programs to use for downloading dvds, mp3s etc. I'd never use them, but just want to know. (emule is not working that good at the mo, pm me if needs be)

Emule runs a shitload better if you use PeerGuardian2 to block all the RIAA servers.

I think there are modified versions of Emule that work a bit better and don't have spyware.

Open the list manager, click Add, Select Add URL, type in http://peerguardian.sourceforge.net/lists/p2p.php, give it a descrption and click ok.

Do the same thing again but use gov.php this time if you also want to block all govt related IP's.

You can allow http if you want, if you dont it might just block you websurfing to some websites.

The original client was Edonkey, which they added spyware too when it got brought out. THe official emule clients and mods have never contained spyware (It is open source thou so some homos probably released a hacked version with spwyare added in by now thou)
