Shit mate you must have been wasted as TOOL have only played at the North Shore Events (3 times even...)centre and once at the BDO

I'm sure it was the powerstation! But to be honest I saw so many bands over a period of about three years in Auckland and yup, lets just say don't ask me to write a review on any of them.

Though I do remember going to an after party where Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds were, and that Blixa Bargeld stood out as a complete and utter tosser.

Bestest gig ever was Hunters and Collectors at the Bell Block many, many moons ago. I can't stand their records but the live show made your hair stand on end.

TooLs awesome they used to be my favourite band during college and my first uni years, Parabola is my favourite song (still sends shivers down my spine) and the videos my favourite by tool as well - was quite gutted that they didnt play it at the recent BDO but its from an older album :P ive progressed onto NiN now so same kinda artists e.g. tapeworm project between Maynard and Trent, good to hear about some of your experiences watching tool back a few years with the early albums opiate, undertow etc IMO a different kind of performance in those days bit more cocky etc
