Short notice 250 group ride to Kaiaua (21 July)

As it has transpired that a favourable time-space continuum intersection of probability and fortuitous circumstances means I can ride tomorrow!

Not picking up Daphne since she will be delievered to my doorstep on Sunday!

So it means that Donor and I can make a small pootle to the lovely shores of Kaiaua to consume some shark and tatties! Anyone is welcome to join us at BP Botany (corner of Ti Rakau drive and Chapel Road) 9.00am for a 9.30am departure.

This will be a leisurely ride and newbie friendly! ATGATT will be inspected and mocked mercilessly for non-compliance. But you can still ride!

PM me for further details if needed!

    Is it just for 250cc?

Is it just for 250's Joe? Could do with the short trip.

    Nope...

250 oriented for the newbies and lesser confident among us, but all welcome.

Odd, the other thread seems to have disappeared, shall have to PM the mod responsible for the Club 250 forum and see what happened there!

...after all, we have been listing rides in Club 250 for a very long time, don't see why it would have been moved/removed!
    At the 2007 Westpac Ride:

Donor: So ya glad you're a Biker?

    Minnie: F**k yeah!

Yep, appears I was a naughty boy apparantly! I posted in the 250 club cause thats where I've always found out about these sort of rides and am now organising them myself to help others!

I dunno... I even started this one to cover my bases in case I was wrong! But it appears even though I did, I was still wrong

    Never mind, such is life!

Just wondering why this time and not the other time when I posted the other spanner nights before putting them in this forum!

Thumbs up All systems are green for GO!

As the Thunderbirds would say, the weather is FAB and all systems good to go! Donned my gear, given my trusty Daisy a good going over (ooer!) Topped up her two stroke oil of goodness (she can still get it wet), kicked the tyres, pumped the brakes, indicators all doing as they ...

And waiting for Donor and zeocen to turn up at my place so we can get a pre-ride ride in before the big ride! (sigh, it's hard to be a biker at times! )

For those who need to call me as we patiently talk shite and perve at each others bikes at BP Botany...

Hope to see some of you there!

Just looked at the weather - have a good 'un out there. Unfortunately I'm still engrossed in gardening preparing for the house sale.

Don't worry about the infraction - I had a post sent to PD for bringing a thread back on topic after two mod's brought if off topic!

Hope you had a good day and the Kaiaua food is at it's usual high deep fried standard!
