Something really interesting has happened after doing all this. It has opened up chats with others going through their own experiences. I have really appreciated thet input of so many. Going through the messages and PM's has been very humbling and incredibly supportive.

Sadly I got further bad news this Friday about some tests, but I still see a way through it all if I give it all I can. Thanks to those of you telling me your stories. These are of course in confidence and I really do appreciate your openess in reaching out to someone most of you have never met.

I hope we meet someday. Some I might meet tomorrow on the cruiser ride.... which is actually open to any bikes... as long as they remember we cruise and not race. Bring on the fine weather!

Kinda takes the fun outta your day. Not what I wanted to hear at 35.

Ranty dribble over... where are my hard pills?
Got told by a consultant that if I did not stop coming off motorcross bikes like I did that I would be goneburger. However as I can't get my arse on the CR anymore, thats an easy thing to sort out. I've had my hard pills for the morning, I have a few spare if you really need them, but they are a bit hard on the stomach.

Nah really Toaster, you probably know that you need to make the changes, quite possibly common sense stuff? I'm sure your quality of life will improve alot more than you think too. As for taking the fun outta your day. Well you might have to be like me and look at new fun things that you can do and forget the stuff that is part of the problem. I've got a couple of BB guns off trade me. BB guns at 10 paces? I no longer mind putting up with a little pain from stuff like that as compared to the back pain, its nothing.

    Oh Poohs Toaster.

Do your best, that's all you can ask of yourself. I'm really sorry to hear it's more bad news but you've got a ton of support here on KB to draw on, by the looks of things.

Here's a virtual hug from Brisbane. (So it's a nice, sunny one!)

god - don't get me started about friggin sunny skies. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Nothing but blue skies and sunshine is like eating icecream for breakfast. Lovely for the first week, but after that you're hanging out for some decent porridge.

I hope the weather is total shite when I get back to New Plymouth mid August. I haven't had 'orrible weather for about four years and it's driving me spare!!

Please feel free to remind me of this statement when I am bitching about freezing my arse off at the Cold Kiwi.
