I've noticed relationships come when you stop looking, as MSTRS said and others have said.

I have overcome these. So meeting someone that you want in your life like that to me is a challenge due to certain circumstances that have happened in my life.
When you have changed some major stuff in your life, it pays to let the dust settle before you add another change. One hurdle at a time, and don't get ahead of yourself.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Nah, they not wise, they just old!!!!! (And me, I'm older than both of them)
But, actually what they say is true.
Don't go looking for your soulmate..when you are ready they will appear!
Just go out and have fun, live life to the fullest and enjoy what you have, rather than hankering for what you are "missing out on".

HAH, I call bull!! I have tried this... and still have nada Just a bunch of wankers (mostly single) who hassle the shit out of me... no matter which bike I own.

Taking off the helmet is the mistake, isn't it?

I agree with that...my point was just that I'm often dissappointed after some time with some boyfriends!

it's not having high standards that is the problem, it's having unreasonnable ones...

It just takes a while to adjust between the two and stay true to yourself.

You got to drop the "hunting for" thing and just get stuck in to life. Life is a great thing that is too precious to spend unhappy. You can never regain the last minute. So look up and ride the wave of life. Make life good for others and it comes back a hundred times better to you. Be like the warm sunny day and radiate out to others.
Don't come back with a lecture on what shit has gone down cos that is negative. I could do the same thing but you gota look passed that and look forward. Life is truly great. Ride if you love bikes. Just ride and do it.
    Amen ..

One can never have enough freinds .. KB surely has given me some of those, great rides, great company, tons of fun ....

if it happens it happens ... no biggie cause there is always another ride tomorrow

It's not hard to find someone, it's just hard to find someone good for you. Searching and meet lots of different people is a great part and I really do like it!
Suffering and making mistakes help you to grow up, learning from that and make you better (sounds like very weird TV programms sorry lol), but I want my reward now!!! Enough suffering for the moment...

You are a very wise person Chicky. You just need to believe in yourself. MSTRS and Tart have good life experience. A lot of the comments here are good. I have seen someone here with the tag line " Life is not a practise run" or similar. That is the key. The glass is half full. Rock on fellow riders.

Back to my little corner of KB.
