My bike... its.... quite.... still.... err.... its dodgy lol
It swirves side to side when a strong wind blows... TAHT scares me the most.
I really want to join you guys.... omg but.... Im too scared! lol
Well I will join you guys when I get some more experience and courage
Thanks y'all
If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
It seems a weird thing to say to someone who's new to riding, but that sounds perfectly normal. You honestly just eventually get used to it and adapt and learn how to position yourself in strong wind. Do a search for something wind and riding in this section and a few threads should pop up, they all give great advice on how to better yourself in the wind.
Aye, I remember the last ride I did out that way with Winter and co. and he was saying things like "eek! That wind is blowing me around!" ... and you know, it wasn't a problem with him in the end, he got used to it and just handled the jandal (I told him actually that wasn't so windy as opposed to how windy it could get!)
I think it was just 'cause we ended up in Dargaville after doing the Brydnwyns and I felt the need to keep going after Ruawai!![]()

Munters Words of Wisdom
Van: What does ironic mean?
Munter: It means how come the guy with the job has never got any money for any piss?
Aye, if weather be bad, no good to be riding out with newbie riders! ( I do recall one mad-cap owner of Daisy doing it though!)
If'n that's the case, ride will have to be cancelled and we can all put our feet up and polish our bikes ...Still, always other days for riding ... and we got Maverick's to come

So who fancies a learner friendly pootle on Saturday? The weather looks like it may get nasty and wet for Saturday and I thought I might send the missus out on her 150 since it needs a bit of a run. Not a long distance ride since we can only really get 3 hours at a time due to the kids and the lack of family/babysitters (hence we get ruled out of too many rides!).
the crap comes through on sunday but saturday looks good. hm might just go on a saturday ride incase sunday really does turn out crap. looks like northlands gonna get it again

Well looks like family commitments got me tied up on Saturday, dismantling the old's kitchen
Unless I pull a cunning trick from the exceedingly cunningly cunning hat I may miss out on riding my bike on Saturday!
But on the plus side, I think I have been invited to go go-karting since it is my mate's birthday in the evening!Yeah yeah... they got four wheels, but it's still hooning!

I may be keen for a Saturday ride, what starting time were you looking at McJim ?
A certain bike needs to have a good go at the outdoors just to keep it feeling wanted, if it's a short and steady ride I may be tempted to take it instead of me ol' 250
