Go STATE!!! I recently got taken out by a very young girl who was fully insured with State. They paid me $300 MORE for the bike than I paid for it 4 months prior & I paid top dollar for the bike (was a minta but) + never asked for receipts for replacement gear. They were even keen on replacing my jacket but after the 2nd time I told them it was fine they backed off lol. I mean what the fuck!!! Is this really an insurance company or have they recently been bought out by the salvation army So yeah hopefully you get the same treatment.

Since I had a wind fall on the insurance of my written off bike + replacement gear put me down for a fiddy as well if the insurance falls through

    United we stand
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Sad when low life steal from kids, as for State, my lady and I have had a good run with them, though we both would prefer not to have needed them

WOW---Ok folks ya know the story about every cloud having a silver lining.
The insurance company has come to the party 100%
They have agreed to REPLACE all 3 bikes. No money payout they are just gonna pay a bike shop a chunk of coin.
BUT THERES MORE--I mentioned I was thinking of upgrading the bikes to 80cc two wheelers and a 50cc two wheeler -- They just said NO PROBLEM -Just give us the serial numbers.
The only kicker is that 80's need to be insured under their own policy -50's arecovered under house n contents

Good to hear ... but the security issue is probably still there ... the bleed'n feckers are probably waiting for you to replace them with the insurance and hit you again

I think an appropriate reception needs to await them ... something involving sharp objects, impaling objects, blunt objects, power tool objects, sawing objects... the list goes on

Remember! Get your retaliation in first!

Hiya Frosty, glad to hear about the payout etc, just remember that thiefs always hit more than once with things like this, normally they break in and take things then wait for the insurance to pay out and hit again.
Just a warning as our office got hit 3 times in 2 months

Good shit Frosty, all's well that ends well. Even better timing for the young fella's birthday

ps: thought about a security camera? You can get some pretty cheap numbers on TM these days? Or what about "data dots". Doesn't stop the feckers stealin them just makes it impossible to do anything with them without getting caught.
