Good to catch up with all yous guys and gals tonight again!

Might go to bed now so it's tomorrow faster so I can ride my highly modified bike (new fun front thing) and compare how much fun it is compared to the SV650.

Good old Mokoro is a good mate, letting me fang his pride and joy around while hes stuck with my car in auckland traffic. What a good bastard

Surely you can get a personal loan or something Jacob? Get a mum loan, they are almost interest free etc. Sweet.

Already have a loan can't get another one but it's sorted now anyway.

and I will never ever ask my mom for anything again. Haven't even spoken to her(phone, text, whatever) since I moved out and don't plan to anytime soon.

Yeah you probably would get more money and a free warm cell with tv to live in and free education , Also a big payout when you get out for rehabilitation.

What about this "newby ride" that Chris is helping sort out? I would fully meet you at Coroglen. I say meet, because if we leave at the same, I'll get there a few hours later. lol.

Not if you're on the same ride as me!
The thing about riding a beauty like mine is so people have time to SEE you on it - that's why I'm so slow.

Two different bikes - I don't care when I look like a git wearing full gear on a scooter, but I've got to look good on the RSV

    Redemption?

My God, I think I found Utopia today

It came in the form of a ride to Coroglen with Unit, Bravo1 and Cajun. I haven't had a ride like that in some time and it was a real novelty to come home with that silly grin splashed across my face.

Although I didn't know the roads and hadn't been to Coroglen before, this ride was special because there was no pressure to ride fast and everyone could go at their own pace. OK, so I always lagged behind a couple of minutes but I was too busy concentrating on getting the basics right.

As you're all aware, my confidence has been shot for the past 18 months so you can probably understand why I'm so excited to see my old self returning. The bike has only done 4,000km (and obviously I'm still learning how to ride it), and after today, I'm confident that I'll be able to ride it better than I ever did my VTR and GSXR.

Today's high point? Redeeming myself by flying up the Kaimais For some crazy reason, Bravo1 thought I'd ride up there like a pansy - what's that all about?

A pic to prove I got there:

Probably because the last time you were on the kaimis as part of a ride, I beat you to the top.

But then I was a bit ahead of you by the time we got there anyway. Those straight-ish roads out of Rotorua we great on my bike lol.

Glad you finally managed to do part of the Coro and had a blast though.

Not really a fair comparison if you're finished when I'm only just starting!
