You took your time to read, post, and have a whinge also.. How about we both go cry into a big bowl of wheetbix???

Pulled the bike out from under mums deck.. Backed it, pushed it up onto mums driveway to park it up.. So I could check.. Light was still on..

Whilst fiddling with the pain of an arse key thingo to get the back seat off to check oil (always been hard to get into) I noticed a drip... Got down and started looking...

Hose for the oils split and come off, oils dripping everywhere... Its even all over my rear tyre..

Good on ya for checking it out and finding the problem and not just starting the bike up anyways and totalling the engine. Sign of a real biker eh.

You seem to be getting a bit soft lately. Are you looking at moving to Auckland for promotion and becoming more PC ?

Not certain, but alot of the older oil pumps on bikes needed to have any air bled out of them to prevent an air lock that would prevent oil flowing.
Can any one confirm if this is needed to be done on this bike?

Didn't think about anything like that.. I thought it would be just as simple as putting a new hose on..??
