Off to Aushurst now looks good. On the mighty Girble today. Last minute "Can you look after the grandson" request prevented an earlier departure. Needless to say Ganny is doing the baby sitting.

Thanks for the great ride, the back roads from Pahiatua to Masterton were awesome.

Hope you didn't get too wet going home, it rained from Pahiatua to Feilding, the fire at home has seldom been more inviting.

Chanceyy, you will have to come and organise our Feilding rides, this waiting at intersections to ensure noone gets lost is alien to us, ours tend to be more of a " blind leading the blind ", which given the state of my glasses, is not far from the truth.

    Excellent meeting you all.

    good fun out there today.

Mrs Cowboyz first kiwibiker ride. She was very entertained and got spoilt with a ride on the ZG14. The ZX9 just didnt seem right for her after that. Cheers for that MATE!. Hopefully her memory will fail her and the zx9 will return to its former glory.

I should probably mention the only reason she was on the ZG in the first place was because I left my smokes behind at the wild oats in carterton and made it the featherston before I realised so dumped the pillion and off I went back for the smokes.\

And yes, I did get them.

Great ride and very well organised thank you chancey
Enjoyed the ride out the back of pahiatua and masterton especialy with cowboyz looking at my tail light for once I am realy enjoying riding the concours now that i am starting to get used to the handling, for a large bike it sure seems to be nimble Coming through Otaki i had a red light light up in the dash and a warning came up in the led display telling me the rear tyre was low on air, stopped to check and all seemed ok until we got closer to levin when the gauge told me it was still going down, then i felt it go a little wobly in the rear and realised i had problems Got to Levin to discover a reasonably large chunk of box cutter blade had embedded itself into my tyre, what to do ?
Called the wife told her to hitch the trailor and wait for my call then bonez suggested there was a super cheap autos up the road where maybe we could get a 12 volt compressor to inflate when needed to get me home
Spotted a tyre pando and thought yep thatl do, so we pumped her up with that finished it with the little compressor and checked it at the mobil down the road, Sweet we were off. Got to Shannon just in time for chocky cake and see everyone leaving chanceys. Got home, parked the bike in the shed and the warning light came on again and i can hear a hissss of air coming out the rear tyre, Good timing
Thank god for tyre pandos, and super cheap autos
Cheers for hanging around to help bonez, makes a huge difference knowing i wasnt stranded alone
I cant praise Kawaski enough for thier trye pressure warning system, this was the first flat tyre on a bike i have had since i was a young lad and it was very reasuring being able to see how much air i had in my tyres after the temporary repair
My sympathy goes out to the mechanics apprentice that has to clean out all that crap from inside my tyre next week
Awesome day and it was great to meet some more kiwi bikers
