If a group is coming past Taupo and don't mind me joining... I'd like to tag along Although I plan to be heading down to get to the gates by about 3pm (opening time).. that way I have enough time to very gingerly ride the Hyosung to where ever tenting is in the paddock and get the tent sorted (possibly helping a few people who can't set tents up.. won't mention names )

I also won't be traveling at warp speed... seein as it will be the Hyo's first long trip and it will be laden down... with the gear! Honest

If not possible then I'm basically planning to travel down on my own any way, so it won't be a problem

    Can't wait

People start turning up from lunchtime may be called upon to help put up the beer tent and such.

I will be staying in Taupo Thursday night and leaving 9am to do the shopping at pak n save. Usually plan to have lunch at Subway in Waiouru then head off to the rally site. Usually help with the distrubuting of wood for the fires, get it all stacked before everyone else turns up to a warm cheery fire.

I will only be going slow as I will have the trailer on, 90kph or so.

Only just seen this, and will try and persuade the better half to take the Friday off.
So, will hopefully meet the Taupo lot for the run down.

Can anyone confirm that you can "pay at the door" type thing?

Pay on the day is OK Boob, - costs something like 5 bucks more (?) and no dinner or badge - stand to be corrected, but you'll be welcome

If I'm packed in time I'd possibly be keen to help set up, as I know more hands make less work.

Can't wait! Now to get the Hyo on the road lol...

I was planning on buying at the gate, incase something comes up before I leave.

I dont think you have too. you can get food but if you pre-reg you can get a better breaky I think, or its faster or something. have a look at the entry form its on there.
