Frankly I am amazed that she can come through everything that she has endured in the last few years and still maintain some balance.

Yes, I also liked the fact that Louise N. made it clear she has faith in the police again. It'd take a big heart to trust after what she has been through (I'm one of those who believe it was a valid complaint she made.) Hopefully this is cleaning up the dregs of a culture that is no longer around in police circles.

I like to believe that most coppers are good and decent people, and only a few of them are rotten. Pretty much a mirror of society in general, really.

I lump coppers in with ambos, teachers, doctors and nurses - pretty crappy jobs at times, and I admire those that are able to stick with it and do it well.

I watched that Dewar and he was being an obnoxious bastard in court. He clearly is in the belief that he is way above the law. Goodbye to him for a while.
Yup full marks to LN for her gracious comments about police and her tenacity and persistence. Most coppers are good and do a fantastic job (not the speed camera ones though, Grrrr) and the cops that pursued these four hoods may have done so at their own personal and professional peril. Big ups to them as it is proof, and a big warning to those that operate that way, that the we havn't yet stooped into the world of corruption.

No, if a cop rides a bike and is a wanker then he deserves to be treated like one. Just as one who doesn't, and isn't, doesn't.

I'm glad my judgement of character worked. I disliked the bastard the first time I met him.
Anyone else notice the similarity between Dewar and Shipton? The same thin lipped, pig eyed countenance.
But I do fear that he will enjoy jail too much. After all, gang bangs are a very small step from being gay. He'll make the transition quite readily.
