Which sucks because I don't think there are many rallies of this size left.

Does suck , being treated like little kids before we get there.
I don't drink beer or RTD's usually. but no byo means i can't take in what i want to drink.
I thought this was a biker meet , not the kindy club

Can do that any weekend of the year. The booze and good company I get every Thursday or whenever I happen to go to another town that has KBers.

This is a Rally ,it should be more than just a bunch of bikers being watched over like chicks by a mother hen.

setting off from bp metro(corner ferguson+princess) at 9am sat there will be a few of us travelling up at a leisurley pace,would be great to have an xtra k'ber along

NO decent beer
NO breakfast if you pay @ the gate on the day
NO badge
NO bringing your own food
NO lighting of fires (except theirs)

No Bikes (only cars and Trucks)
No drugs
No helmets
No leathers

Next year will be even better!!
I'm sure what is said and what is done will be totally different, they have to take all reasonable steps to make sure that they meet their legal requirements to get the liquor license

If they followed the law to the letter they wouldn't sell much on site as they cannot serve intoxicated persons can they?

There is always plenty of hot food for breakfast, just not bacon and eggs if not prepaid.
Most of the patrons usually dont feel like any breakfast
just a bit of the hair of the dog

Always bring my own food apart from what is prepaid for. Cheese toasties over the fire with flame grilled venison are just devine. (run out of venison, eye fillet will have to do this year)

What sort of bikers ever followed rules . Most just do what they think they can get away with and if it happens, it happens. Fu.k me next you there will be a speed limit and noise restrictions. You going to follow them too ? Some people need an excuse not to face the challenge. It might even rain and be cold ferk that... if that happens I'm heading straight back home.

It's not the booze restrictions that would keep me away (I cannot stand beer of any brand). Worse comes to worse I can have fun with out it. But not allowed to bring our own food or light our own fires to cook/keep warm/what not with?
Fuck that. I can have the same kinda fun they want to restrict us to here in town. Damned if I'm gonna pay them just for the opportunity to sleep on a soggy patch of grass.

Dont know where you guys got no BYO food from. The fires are provided so there's really no need to light them anywhere else. I'm guessing you two must be CK virgins.
Waylander, if it's too cold and there's too many rules for you, you could always go on the Girls Warm Kiwi at Awakeri Hotsprings instead.

you can light fires by your tents we have done in the past 5 years you just have to get it your self from rrmc they do supply it(and its dry)
the best way to get your piss in is in a fuel can done it before.just remember to check to see if its drinkable first though hha ha ha
