    The stores backtracked.

On the surface it would appear the the manager has over reacted. He even got the kids to sign some document. Like what sort of twat would do that with a five year old. Manager has just made himself look a dick.

    Interesting

Most abused and neglected children never come to the attention of government authorities.

This is particularly true for neglected and sexually abused children, who may have no physical signs of harm. In the case of sexual abuse, secrecy and intense feelings of shame may prevent children, and adults aware of the abuse, from seeking help.

Therefore, official government statistics do not indicate actual rates of child abuse.

Does this mean that Whites are just better at hiding abuse.

This was from a study which included UK and America which have a few whites living there.

Actually, that might have been quite smart. Getting the kids to engage in some consequences of their actions ... make them accountable ... make them take some responsibility?

The kids will remember this ... gosh, maybe they won't do it again because of it? Nobody's allowed to give them a clip on the ear, shit their parents are not even allowed to smack them on the bum. If the shop or manager isn't allowed to Make A Point .... then I wonder how else the message is conveyed to the kids?

    Any constructive suggestions ... ?

How about 2 weeks in a pitch black 6m deep well with only crusts being thrown to them every third or fourth day, whilst all the time having to listen to Slayer at high volume? Mix in a strobe light coming on at random times, that ought to do it.

All the manager had to do was contact the police. That would have had much the same effect as to what you are suggesting. Is that constructive enough for you??

Where was the mother while the 5 and 8 year old were ambling aimlessly through the supermarket?

Watching 'Days of Our Lives' or some other meaningful child-rearing-and-improving pursuit???

Police wouldn't have turned up for a 5 or 8 year old....unless they were speeding at the time

C'mon, talkback is just like an audio version of KB, better in fact cause you can polish your bike at the same time as you absorbe all the 'information'.

This happens sometimes when people have a tiny little bit of power, you should come to Warkworth and try and fill an LPG botle some day for confirmation

You are correct in saying that there is a huge amount of stuff happening that never gets to official ears. Whites (shit I hate the black, white, yellow, pink, purple tag thing) are no better or worse in hiding things.

Nope, I think you are wrong! Most likely sitting out in the carpark, or at home waiting for the kids to deliver up what they have been told to take, on pain of a hiding if they dont!

Sadly I have seen this with one family of children I fostered. One of them came home from school with a huge grin on her face, handed me a pile of notes and coins. "Look what I have brought home!" When I asked her where she got the money from she said, the lunch money container. She was very confused when I explained that you DONT TAKE MONEY from the lunch money container, this was normal behaviour for her, she used to get treats from her Mom for doing it according to my diary at the time.

    Sad but true.
