Mad Dogs and Englishmen on Wairau Road 7:00pm. Nothing formal, nothing planned, just a get together for the Auckland types.

Find the cinema complex on Wairau Rd. The pub is on the opposite side of the road about 100m further along (i.e. pass the cinema so it is on your right, the pub is an additional 100m on your left). There's a sign way up high and for those that cant read well... you're fucked coz this post won't be any use either.

had a close call on the way home heading southbound just after the bridge .....through the left hander before fanshaw street offramp.....

so here i am both wheels drifting i'm thinking just keep the throttle where it is and ull be fine....so sweet as.....looking into the corner.... out of the corner of my eye see a car in the lane to my right ....and i'm running vewry wide otwards the side of them...f****k this isn't gunna be good....

got traction back...but was still running veryyyy wide....

bloodey hell i'm like 2 feet away from this car sideon and getting close....

screw it...kick on the left peg and a shitload of countersteer....she banks over hard left....feel the tyres trying to go....

well ive dodged the car...ok now lets tidy this up.....let it run way out wide...across 2 lanes (yes i checked they were clear) and kept going on my merry little way...
