Traffic was moderately heavy but flowing well - he only kept ending up behind me because he couldn't judge gaps and kept getting boxed in with all his short sighted lane changing. I spent most of the trip simply following a car in front of me. And fuck making allowances for cunts like that - they don't deserve shiit from me.

Mate i had a similar instance on the Habour Bridge last weekend...a cock in a very nice Maserati...(late model) he past me on the inside and got into my lane two cars ahead...i came off the bridge three car lenghts in front, it doesn't take much when you are on a bike to put some distance between you and someone thats driving like an idiot...thats the awful truth awful-truth.......

The way some of you pussys are going on about how inconsequential the potential for this incident was, I'm surprised you're picking on my use of a mere colloquialism. You obviously don't think a mere fellow motorcyclist and his wife of 8 years are worth worrying about when someone almost drives their car over them, yet you're concerned about a potential reduction of her position to a household item. Yeah - they haven't got me yet though, despite their best efforts. Hers was one of the more blatant attempts of recent years though - complete and utter indifference toward others is how I would describe it.



I've done a few mirrors in my time. The most memorable was a couple of years ago when I nearly had the front wheel of my XR600 smacked by the rear bumper of this chimps Mazda Eunos when he changed lane on me without indicating or looking. I gave him a blast of the horn (ok, so blast isn't quite accurate for that particular horn...) and pulled up beside his window at the next set of lights (about 100m) and let rip with a tirade of profanities (it really was a close one that). He smiled and gave me the bird feeling quite safe & smug in is metal cage. The smile and finger disappeared with the sound of cracking plastic and breaking glass as his wind mirror disappeared from the door with one swift downward stroke of my XXXL gloved hand, followed by a smile and bird of my own.

Knowing what electric wing mirrors cost does give some satisfaction, but wasn't appropriate for tailgating. Honestly, if the wife wasn't with me I'd be in the cells now. That earlier incident really set my mood of intolerance...

Sometimes bikers are the menace though:

I lent a bike (RG250) to a guy once who was a mates friend for a quick spin.
He told me he was born and raised on bikes.
Minutes later he cruises in with a car following him, the big islander gets out
of the car and throws him into the hedge.
The big guy says to me: "who owns the bike?" surprised I say "me"
He tells me that the guy was a complete lunatic and had no idea of road rules etc and put his life and others at risk
Must have been bad if he knew it wasn't his bike.
