Twas a goodun. Order in a warmer evening for the next one eh?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Well, while you guys headed off to parts unknown at a somewhat faster pace than I would be comfortable, Sc and I went riding with Micro as our mentor.
Headed off to do the nice twisties out on the Taihape road, only to find cyclists by the mile. Change of plan and off down Swamp Rd instead, with Micro stopping us occasionally to offer advice. Unfortunately the cyclists were on all the roads we were on, but they were mostly considerate, so all was good.
We met up with the fast boys at ths Puketapu pub for a drink, nice to see you Grumpy! Your wee girl is beautiful, BTW. Thanks also for your support for hXc and Mack.
We then headed back to our place to grab some clothes, food and bevvies to take down to Team Cuby's place...what a ride...drama after drama! I will say no more on that tho
Eventually, Micro and I headed off alone in the dark for my first night ride.
Thanks so much for riding with me Chris, and for keeping such a steady pace. I enjoyed it heaps, apart from freezing my tits off!..or was that my hair!! Was fantastic!
Today we headed off home up HW50..the weather is just so superb for riding, and had a wonderful weekend of riding!
    Bring on summer!!!

This whole weekend for me has been awesome except for the dramas, Sorry guys....Looks like my Pink Bits may be going to a new home so watch this space.

I thoroughly enjoyed the mentor ride with Tart and Micro and the roadside jokes and light heartedness, and after last weekend my ride yesterday couldn't have felt more comfortable. Tart, still lovin the new do you are awesome to actually go through with it.

Team Cudby thanks for picking me up, really appreciated it even when I pulled you away from your own do.

When we were in the drizzle at Woodville yesterday, the blue sky up the Bay way looked attractive! But it was pretty darned good further south.

only one hour more and you would have been here too. (well that is a "spirited" hour anyway)

jan has broken ribs? ouch! tell him i said hello will ya mate!
I told him you were asking after him. Thanks for that. He was here for dinner last night and is on the mend. Maybe riding in another week. Maybe 2

The trip to Tarawera was great. That road rocks. Open sweeping corners that allow you to lean and roll on the gas with out a care in the world. WooooHooooo. The young fella had a ball. What a grin. It was a bit disappointing to be the only sports bike in the car park. But we got over it. Had some fun with the bacon on the road. Long story but they were sitting on the hill videoing cars and collecting tax for crossing the white line. Unbelievable. I won't say what I think of this policing................. Wankers.

Anyway was great to catch up yesterday W. Short but nice ride aye. Did I mention how nice the road was?
Cheers all. Have a great week. I won't be out next weekend so have a great ride. Hope to get back to the weekend rides after that.

Bring on the summer. That was one sweet ride yesterday.

Sounds like you all had a great weekend, the sun was shinning thru the windows at work
I know what I would rather have been doing. However not found a better way to keep the Bank Manager at bay. Managed an hour ride after work on Sunday late afternoon.
A family function this Saturday, but if anyone going for a ride on Sunday, would be keen to join.

I agree, wont post my little excursion on here for obvious reasons. there were several cops out allright.

I would have passed you all on my way back from taupo but felt it safer to head back to town via another route. successfully arrived at MSTRS's and Tart's place about ten minutes after you were dues to leave for yours.

    Until next time.

Small ride today to bottom of the elbow. Coming back there were 4 HP between Bayveiw and the Weshore turn off.

Off to the Mount this Thursday and Friday. Bike goes into GP Motorcycles for some tweaking. Hope the weather is a lot better as i need a good ride.
