Dont think anyone is laughing Lee...more of a Sigh really...in the shape of...ah well. I for one didnt know him...and dont care, it will happen again, thats the nature of criminals.

I understood his point and I think it has just been taken too much out of context.

Most motorcylists speed and we are told 'Speed Kill's' & "if you speed be prepared to kill" so although the chances of killing someone are less than with a drug pusher, we buy bikes of dealers which can easily break the speed limit so become addicted and may or may not have an accident.

So if anti-motorcyclists applaud a biker who is killed why speeding who are we to attack them....that is all the point Lee was making.

The drug users are not the victims, they made a choice knowing the consequences.

No, I am not sorry that this person overdosed, but I am not making fun of it either.

Sure, a death is nothing to be laughed at, but:

a) he overdosed, aka he took his own life via self abuse...

b) the guy was a criminal...the only reason I am not going all out on this is I don't know what he was in for in the first place...

I assure you I do not make fun of his death, but I'm not sorry either that another bad person is no longer walking the same earth than my kid is.

Neither up nor down on this one. Avoided this thread as I thought it was part of 'The Scottish thread' from the title.

Sounds like the guy was the knowing author of his own demise.

Do I sympathise with the deceased? No - they're either gone forever or in a better place depending on their/your belief.

Do I sympathise for those left behind? Yes - no matter how big a c*nt someone is they're always someones son/daughter.

As a father it's a relief to know that there's one less criminal out there to harm my kids but at the end of the day it's likke pissing into a hurricane. There's always another 5 crims popping up.

now that is a decent answer! no im not sad or sorry that a drug pusher is dead, like you i do not see a funny thing about death. unlike some of the above posters!

like i said before, joking/high5ing/etc about death is not on. yes have a debate over whether its a good or bad thing in those circumstances by all means. also, no-one would like it if i said "high fives all round" when their daughter/son/etc was killed would they? coz it amounts to the same thing
