A pretty morbid sort of question to ask... but does anyone have a first aid certificate or anything? medical student coming for the ride? might be handy to find out before the ridejust in case

I did a first aid course whilst at school... have been meaning to get a little first aid kit to keep under the seat of my bike, actually (gloves, bandages etc)
LUCKILY Stpehen and I never had to use our one on our South Island trip!
Hopefully it is not too WINDY this weekend for this ride.... (coming over the kopu hill this afternoon with those gusts was not a pleasant experince :S:S)

Three groups sounds like a good idea, especially if there are numbers like last weekend.
On the way home from Waipu a few of us ended up tagging along in the middle anyway.
But then again, no one will be speeding on this ride ,will they?
So maybe there will not be a problem with keeping the groups relatively coherant.
Lol, depends on numbers, though. See who turns up...

I'm not gonna be able to make it guys. The guy who posted the parts for my broke ass CBR posted them to the wrong address, I JUST got them, and there's some bits missing. There's no way I'm coming on a ride with all my shit hanging about like that![]()
dang dude, it would have been nice to have a 3rd cibby on tour!!
well like kim said, there will other rides and now the weathers getin better they should be more frequent!!
aye guys![]()
hell yea mate!! its nice to wake up to a sunny morning!!
oh n btw to all riders, it was bloody windy when i went upto check out the route on tuesday and it doesnt look like its going to die down so just make sure that you are comfortable going at highway speeds. The 40kms of windie roads are largely shaded from wind so that part is really nice but the hills leading to wellsford and coming back down through sh1 from wellsford were bloody horrible....
i was getting blown around on my 200+ kg bike so just thought you guys should know....i just slowed down round those parts to 80kph to make my life easier so yea
