    FOR SALE: Suzuki GSF250 Bandit

    SOLD SOLD SOLD 22/09/2007

    Hi all,

As I've gone and jumped through "the man's" hoops, I now have a full licence, so my baby Bandit is for sale.

It's not on Trademe yet - but may be displayed for sale at Motohaus Tyres in the not-too-distant future, will post here if it is.

I have loved every minute of owning this bike, and have a feeling I'll regret parting with it one day... nonetheless, it's for sale.

You'd be hard pressed to find a tidier Bandit out there - it's just had a respray and full tidy-up courtesy of insurance after a minor off - so it's in near mint condition. (have pictures if anyone's concerned about the extent of damage = cosmetic )

It comes with an after-market pipe and sounds pretty mean for a wee bike - not the industrial sewing machine sound that some IL4 250s make. Think F1 car-like howl as you pass the 10K mark - be warned, it's addictive.

It's a big bike for a 250 so would suit taller/larger riders - it has no problem hauling my 95kg/5'10" arse round. It's one of the 'quicker' 250s (being IL4) but is a more comfortable and better looking [IMHO] proposition than the RR 250s.

Comes with good rubber: Avon tyres front and back with heaps of life left. Avon HKM on the back and Roadrider on the front (This is a 'matched' pair, as the Roadrider superceded the HKM range)

Has an English owner's manual too

I'll let the pictures do the talking: for the eagle-eyed, sorry it's covered in winter grub - will be all shiny for the new owner, and no, you can't have the scottoiler 'cos I'm too poor to let it go with the bike.

I'd love this bike to stay in the KB family, or even better go to someone at University so I can still see it around.

My lid has been updated too - so if anyone wants to make me a reasonable donation for the Nitro tinted visor, or the clear visor with fog city [pictured], feel free. (NB Helmet itself is not for sale, just visors. New prices = tinted visor $50; clear visor $30; fog city ~$30)

Any questions/enquiries etc - PM me here, email me on ross_dellow@xtra.co.nz, or txt/call me on 027 696 1461

    Cheers, Ross/Phurrball

Dman thats a tidy looking bike, those are some cool pics ya got there.
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."

Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.

Good on you Ross, get what you were after in the end?
Has it ever bothered you that Therapist is The Rapist if you break the word in two? It bothers me, especially when they suggest hypnosis.
