    Perfume/aftershave

One of the differences between men and woman is that men 'use' and woman 'wear.' What's your favourite day/evening..........and why.

I prefer the use of my natural pheromones to entice the opposite sex. After all its worked for 1000's of years so why waste a natural source that is biologically proven. Using man made perfume is only covering up the real you so you are enticing people with a falsehood. You could in fact be trying to hide the fact that your natural body odour signals that your possibly a mass murderer and therefore one to be avoided. Also rumour has it that artificial perfumes will quite possibly be banned under new 2007 Greenhouse Emission Regulations, Article 1437, Para 89, due to the effect they have on destroying the ozone layer. You read it here first

Having had one's underarm sweat glands surgically removed, one has not used deodorant or other smelly encumbrances for over 25 years so is not qualified to respond to this question. One is also allergic to most colognes and unctions, and hates nothing more than having to share a confined space with some poseur (of either gender) who has recently bathed is some egregious aromatic essence.

And don't the men howl when they see a woman who has not shaven under her arms. So much for the 'au naturel' look.

I could say so much right now .. but instead .. i'm going to say that perfume/cologne is all good ... the only down side is when you step in a lift and some has bathed in it and you cant breathe.

Personally ... I have at least 7 different cologne's, each one fits a mood ..the last thing i want to sniff is someone's unwashed armpit reek .. I'd rather remove my nose with a blunt spoon.

I used to wear cologne, including one nicknamed by a friend as "Sure F*ck" although it only once delivered the goods for me

Now I don't wear anything, and those men that do seem a bit 'try hard', or keen to cover smoking smells or worse... but I'm married so don't really need to guild the lily, and my wife likes the way I smell.

If a woman smells clean (ie like soap or like she's just bathed recently) then I'm there.

    Cool well

I use Linx at the moment - I had a lovely young lady ask me what deo I was wearing the other day - only to let me down by saying she should buy some for her dad. Does that mean I smell like a dad?

I remember once I found myself sleeping over somewhere unexpectedly, wanted to leave fairly promptly in the morning - no shower, no deodorant or anything on me. So I used the air freshener from the toilet room.

I had two or three compliments from women that day! go figure?

Ohhh your getting me exited - there are those who like that natural (hairy) look.
Personally I don't think women should try to look pubescent, they should flower and look like an adult.

When you work in Hospo you get one extreme to the other. I like the subtle ones but when you can smell them before they've arrived that's just a little over the top.

The worst for me is that people seem to be going a little too o'naturel and not even using antiperspirant and that's not good. You might think your natural smells are good but to most others they are not when it's like that.

I don't understand how these people can't smell themselves, I get concerned as soon as i start sweating as I don't want to stink.

So I'm all for it in the right amounts.

I like nice smells, not BO. Stuff always smells different on different people. Same stuff on one person smells totally different on another.

I like wearing Hypnotic Poisen, or Provocative Woman most of the time.

Fella's wearing good aftershave is definitely more appealing for us ladies in general.

I believe when they tested smells on men (what they'd like in perfumes) it was more the food smells they liked. In America the smell of Pumpkin Pie came up tops!

So blokes - would you rather ladies smelt like food or flowers?
