    Freight requires a lift North...

I have 2 or 3 heavy banana boxes that I need to get from Nelson to Kaukapakapa.. Rodney.. which I believe is north of Auckland???

The couriers quoted a small fortune.. NZ Post is an option.. but just thought I would try on here first.. to see whether any one has any connections I could try.

I tried some moving companies.. to see if a truck going that direction could put the 2 or 3 boxes in with a load.. but they wouldn't do that.. & their minimum charge was $300..

ps: It's a dinnerset I sold on TM.. auction clearly stated "pick up preferred".. never mind the other end of the bloody country..

    Thanks

    Jen

Yup! Kaukap's North West of Aucks, about 20min from my place! I'd love a trip to Nelson but I doubt the Boulevard could carry three banana boxes and the cost of the return trip would probably be a bit more than a courier, too!

Sorry I can't offer a serious alternative to NZ Post...

lols.. her idea of organising the freight was for ME to do a 4 hour return drive to Blenheim to meet a truck & drop it off.

Being the trader that I am with 100% positive feedback in 275 auctions.. I will do all I can to source options first..
