Sounds like you are better off without him. Weird. I smoke occasionally but wish I didn't and will give up. I admire anyone else who does and if I was him I'd be enormously impressed.

There was a full (albeit eclipsed) moon the other night and I firmly believe that the magnetism of such alignments has a bearing on human behaviour. Ask the cops; everyone goes nuts on nights with a full moon!
Anyway, the post asked a question.
Answer; yes.
I'm lucky; my lady doesn't smoke but I wouldn't part company with her if she did, there sre so many more important issues to address in a relationship.
One of which I intend to cement tonight. (Teehee)
(It'll look like cement on the sheets in the morning, anyway....)
In some cultures, references to "smoking" or not is a metaphor for fellatio. Perhaps you should text him and tell him that you're now a social smoker, but you still inhail... deep. You'll notice a slight change in his attitude.
I just thought it was a very amusing experience. Admittedly the guy had other issues - like when I said I don't drink - he got very defensive and proceeded to tell me for a good 10 minutes why he was not drinking for one whole month - which he'd never done in his life oh and telling me his ex wife is an alcoholic lol I'm nodding politely, Oh yes. I mean hello.
Amusing to seeing how many blab off about how someone who has just stopped smoking is "suppose to be cranky" READ - if you can at the bottom of my thread I'M A HAPPY NON SMOKER. I figure if I was going to be cranky or miserable without cigs then I wouldn't stop, however my mood is great - still have my sense of humour as above shows - crikey it's still making me laugh.
Finn - love it - I think when I actually got a word in edgeways I may have said something in reply to him like If a man's useless in bed well he's down the road lickety split - when they get to a certain age they ought to know better. Maybe he felt threatened!!!
Bottom line I ain't interested in the guy anyway - thought I'd share the humour.

Sounds like he used the 'non- smoking' as an excuse to me. Good on ya for giving up though... I know how hard it is, still trying to myselfHis loss BMW! Maybe the non- smoking guys out there are the better choice?

Good on you BMW. Good laugh indeed. You have a good way of looking at it
I am all for people giving up fags..... oh and smoking.
I'm the perfect guy. There, you're wrong.
Maybe he was worried you would out-live him since he still smoked??
Smoking? meh, my Scots blood cringes at the thought of that good petrol money being wasted on cigarettes...........the price of the average packet would take the average bike 80km for the same value in fuel.
