Y'know, the whole smoking thing is pretty gross. That's why you're quitting, right? And you'll find out at some point that being a non-smoker kissing someone who smokes is between interesting and disgusting depending on what mood you're in, how recently they last had a cancer stick etc etc. So, he knows how it will go - after a while you'll start ragging on him to give up, he won't want to, and it all goes to custard. You don't want this, he doesn't want this and he's just being honest about the whole thing.

I'd be pretty happy about it if I were you. Besides, a guy who values honesty and long term peace and quiet? Nahhh, must be a spy.

I love finding out from other people how I'm going to act and what I'm going to say when they know absolutely jack shit.

I was told the other day by an insane male that I was having an affair with a married man - well this was news to me - now you would think I would know wouldn't you. So called male friend (I never fkd him)(I have nothing to do with him now) had been stalking me and I caught him out. I asked him who I was spose to be fkg - of course he couldn't tell me. Jesus if I have the name I sure as hell would want to be playin the game.

I have now hopefully got rid of all the retarded males in my life. Got rid of the dross and kept the gold ones.

Happy scenario building - I don't have time for that shit - too busy living life - HAPPILY too.

    So I hear!

You might want to try interviewing with amateur journalists who can spell and grammatise, though.

    Still, you sound fascinating...

A candid interview with Bloody Mad Woman

A chilly breeze and a view of the houses that overlook oriental parade sets the scene for my interview/ lunch and coffee date with one of KB's more prominent members of late. A tall, strikingly confident blonde woman throws her head back and laughs as i question her on her ambitions for the VMCC and *that* conversation with Eddie the Fag. Chain smoking she tells me of the latest love in her life, a tall handomse and distinguished man, but she is truely happy when talking about biking.
"I once rode for seven or eight hours straight."
Up through the coromandel, mind you, i didnt realise it was the coromandel until afterwards, and i didn't catch any of the views.
"But you know I've slowed down a bit after my accident"
What do you mean, slowed down to the speed limit? More laughter, "Yes."
She has been riding for most of her life, and says wistfully that if she had another smaller bike than her current 1200cc she would love to get back onto the track. You would be brilliant i tell her.
"Well I have been told before that I have very nice race lines."
I try and convince her that she could be set up for 5k, but being conservative about her financial state she declines, offering it as maybe a three year goal, I hold my tounge at suggesting to go for a VMCC 150cc sponsorship.
The anecdotes that have become memorable spurt forth freely, especially to do with sex, but i don't mind, it's better than politics and religion. Mr. distinguished is remaining nameless, no matter how much i probe, he remains shrouded in mystery. To keep her life free from the 'responsibility' of having a full time man, once bitten twice shy pops into my head, she leads a carefree life complete with pants suit.
Managing to be both vulnerable and endearing she paints the picture of one of her past track days. She did some 'gardening' and recalled how the boyfriend of the time pillioned her around the track first and she got hyped up, and then managed to run the bike into the ground, hence the term gardening. I'd love to see her go around the track on a propperly set up 600, i bet she'd go like a bat out of hell. She has the temprement for it, cool, calm and collected whilst being fiercely competitive, even if it is with herself. She retreats into the shy persona,
"I'm not very good in crowds."
Trying to ween me off the track day idea. I run with it, telling her how motoTT do marshal for half a day and ride for free, but she sidesteps the issue with the lack of appropriate bike. But one day i think she will get out there and it will be the best medication for her.
If you asked her where would she see herself in five years time i would postulate that it wouldn't be in the city, she might have settled down somewhere quite with a nice, grounded man; you can take the girl out of the city but never the city out of the girl. This may ring true for a lady with plenty of new KB aquaintences, adversaries and friends, which is a site that helps form many relationships and friendships, for the people where above everything else, like Shirl, motorbiking is a hobbie, a passtime and a passion.

More fun! Cigarettes are one of the few products that when used as the maker intended, will kill you! In the most horrible way possible.

It is one of the main reasons I am anti smoking. The manufacturers couldn't care less if you die a horrible death, all they want is as much of your money as they can get out of you before you die. They tried non-addictive, ie. nicotine-free cigarettes a number of years ago, but they were a failure as no-one actually liked the smoking, it was the nicotine that kept people hooked, so they withdrew the nicotine-free cigarettes and upped the nicotine in the others. While the level is regulated, it is still enough to keep you enslaved and the tobacco companies continue to push the limits.

Why would I want to give my hard-earned cash to ruthless, murdereous corporates and risk getting cancer or Emphysemia? I've seen too many people disfigured, (seen the results of throat cancer?), and die horrible, painful deaths. As it is, you've got a 1 in 3 chance of getting some form of cancer. Why would you want to dramatically increase the chance?

Sorry, a hobby-horse of mine... As you were...

I was really expecting an answer along the lines of "it's what you are! lololol" but a straight answer is good

Does riding an RG150 make me a bad arse?
