You talkin' to me? Jimjim = South Island + Cagiva, McJim = North Island and Ducati

Since jimjim ain't posted here I'll assume you meant me.

Givi Airstar fairing. Adds 10kph to the top end of a VTR250 - ask MSTRS about it as he ver'near weee'd himself between Taupo and Napier watching me get max speed out of the 2 fiddy. To paint a picture, I'm just over 6 feet tall and not slender. Moved my arse onto the pillion seat and lay along the tank with the throttle pinned. Just managed to hide behind that fairing.

Of course he's talking to you, wee little JimJim Where's Daddy! Where's Daddy, little JimJim! Peekaboo! Awwwww

Heheh nothing funnier than watching somebody trying to wind up a bike that's not really made for winding up. My father's friend just about fell of his VN800 laughing when I tried to find how fast his wife's Suzuki Intruder 250 could go (130kph with my head right on the tank ).

Hey that's not fair! I've got a small-bore student horn and an embouchure like a fat uncle blowing a rasberry

I found all three of my suzuki bikes gearbox action so much smoother.
How long they last may be another question! i know rf900 and gsxr1100's tend to drop 2nd gear when worn.
All i was trying to say was the little vtr was great but the hard "thunk" into 1st was a real bitch.
yea the 01 cbr600f4i i had had a big clunk into 1st also

The first gear clunk ain't just a Honda thing. My 600ss Ducati goes clunk big time when you kick it into first.

    A nice positive change.

    here is my girl

The first pic is when I saw for the first time...

the second is at the Cold Duck this year, with the morning frost on her...

I don't like the Givvy screens, so am considering custom making a fibreglass "speed triple" like kind of little thing.
Also repaint her in a gunmetal colour...the light silver lacks character in my view point.

And lastly, am researching the Hella's range of headlights, as I'd like to give a bit more of a street fighter look, but don't want to compromise too much the night visibility.

Any thoughts / directions anyone can offer on better headlights would be appreciated.

Yep, that's the one. But she's in good nick for her age. She just got a couple of little dents in the tank, which I'll push back out when I do the repaint.

as far as the twin pipes system, it was done really well, and you're welcome to have a look. Were you at the Cold Kiwi with Carver? Cos my bike an I were there.
