I'd never buy one I don't think but don't slag them off like some people do.

Usually "hate" is all about jealousy or no attempt at understanding.

I intend to own a Buell one day so in essence I don't hate Harleys.

I couldn't ride one though - I get a sore back on sports tourers - I need to crouch forward to be comfortable. Never get sore wrists cos I use my knees and core to hold my body (natural progression from being a racing cyclist).

Each to their own.

a standard hardly (road king for example) isnt that expensive, its all the add on stuff that bumps the price up!

With the Greatest Respect to Harley Riders....

I remember an advertisement stating that if you want to look for a Harley, you will find them on the road.....

I have always thought of that as a weak marketing phrase, but now I know different.

You WILL find them on the road, because that is where people abandon them there, when they break down.

How many HDs have YOU seen on the road, broken down? - let alone abandoned?

And how many threads here are about problems with HDs vs problems with other makes??

ALL makes break down at times matey - not just the ones you hate.

HDs were invented to bait losers I say....

Harleys? Not my cup of tea but I've never ridden one so can't really comment.

Now, if we want to get stuck into Harley riders........
