Well done Obstacle...but what's the second prize?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Dude! thank you so much. I spent all day yesterday in the rain on my bike wearing my chuck taylors. my feet were freezing and then numb. I even went to motormail to buy some boots but as luck would have it they didn't have any in my size for my budget. What a freaky turn of fate.

So, thanks again, i'm sitting here in disbelief at the amazing generosity of JR.

    Stoked!!!

edit: now I must start that 'free to a good home' thread. Reckon it'll work? I'll see what i can find at home tonight.

Well, you can have a slightly scraped Shoei Raid II XL if you like... I wouldn't advise it, though!

Actually, Obstacle, I recall Frosty had a thread pretty much about what you mention...not sure that it got off the ground tho.

Was quite a while ago...maybe 2/3 years. I think it might have been aiming at the idea of having a donated gear 'library' for newbies to borrow from or if funds were tight, sort of thing...

Sounds like a great idea. I was thinking of more of a generalised "here's what i've got for free" listing for anything including non-bike related stuff. but then perhaps it's best keeping those things as seperate threads as they currently are.

either way i'm in debt to karma at the moment so i'm going to see if i can pass on the love in some form.

So I'll let the thread run for a couple more days to make sure everyone sees it, then write a script to use a random number generator to pick someone from the list of guys who fit the above description (being a geek is useful, sometimes). I don't have any other meaningful way of deciding who to hand them to.

So feel free to PM or post with "Broke biker, no boots". One of you will have the Sidis by the end of the week.

if the boots are "auction " is still open I could really use these.
