yeah dont do what my mate sanchio did on his gsx250 lol

theres a corner with a driveway ahead of it...so u come thru a left hander...see an old abandoned driveway thenaright hander...i came through and though shit theres a good runoff if you were ever gunna stack it...got to piha....waiting waiting...where are they...shit i better go back...

theres sancho and ben standing there with a smashed gsx250 which he had only fully done up and repainted 2 weeks before....

he had come through the left hander...threw into the right by the driveway....but lost the rear...into the ditch and cliff.... he went up the driveway bike hit left right left right down the ditch....

not pretty (hes the guy who had the yellow tyga kitted cbr250 stolen the other week)

went up the old abandoned driveway for bits.....found remains of about four different bikes...chunks of fairing...indicators etc....scored me a feee zxr indicator LOL

shes a corner that claims many....do not get distracted by the frigging driveway...trust me...

there you go nice story for ya lol

Hi breakaway, where did you get your plastics welded? was it expensive? It is slowly looking like before all you need to do is a good panelbeating on the tank and a paintjob. There is someone on KB offering to paint bikers for a good price. You have to search.

Hey bro your CBR is looking way better than it was last time aye.

I am glad you took the sellotape off the back seat man!

That was some ruthless D.I.Y. job but what the heck, it did the job man.

I didn't get anything plastic welded. I bought new panels (the gold ones) for $50 total. The rear red bit with "Honda" written on it cost me $40

The front fairing was fixed thanks to Fynn (westie) . It was fiberglass, so we just patched up the holes with fiberglass, sanded the shit out of it, and then bogged, then sand it more, then undercoated. The screen brace was fixed by Warren from Virgin Mufflers.

I also got the pillion seat lock sorted out, got a new latch and stuff

hehe, i've just decided on a route via bethels then piha and ending at hells pizza titirangi (and i'll escort you noobs to the motorway if you're too lost :P)

should be a few hours - breakfast suggested

google confirms that it'll take about 3 hours, so we won't get to pizza till atleast 3pm

That's what I thought when I saw it at the bottom of that bank, but the frame and mechanical bits have been checked out, and it rides just as well as it used to before the little mishap. Except I think the front brake is grabbing a bit more than normal

check your front brake discs aren't bent or they may lock unexpectedly under heavy braking - just use a whiteboard marker to check, and a spanner to bend it back (carefully!)

    as for weather:
remember we (they) cannot reliably forecast more than 3 days ahead, and as a westie i tell you now they have no idea about what's happening in the ranges (nor woodhill) - i'll check the surfaces for roadworks/gravel/holes on saturday
