Hope you guys had a good one tonight, especially BB2, happy Bday!

And thanks for the ride over the hill and back Ralph, was meaaan cept for the traffic on the last run up.

One more thing, on my new tyres on the front, theres about a cm or two of tyre on the far sides (see pic) with no tread whatsoever. If i manage to use that part of the tyre (which im getting close) would i loose all grip and low side or is that part even stickier since its like a slick?

Hey thanks for a good night out guys, was fun and cool to meet some of ya's.
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."

Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.

Well in theory, tread is there to displace water, and well wouldn't think you be getting that far over in the wet?

THey all good nothing to worry about they hold all way to edges, and touch over, well my old zzr250 did

you wont notice a difference it probably will be stickier... unless you hit a wet patch where you will be fucked but even if it was fully treaded at that rideing angle you would still be fucked anyway. MAKE SURE UR TYRES ARE HOT it takes a good 5 min or rideing to get them hot.. ultimatly you really need a stickier tyre if thats how you ride all the time go to a bt101 or a bt014 both are really good but the 014s are better... make sure u got a nice tyre on the front i wouldnt race with that tyre on the front

So racing then We're off for a spin to Coroglen tomorrow so that should be (yet another) interesting trip via Whangamata.

If you're going through the gorge watch the surface at the Paeroa end in the 80 zone.

Nice to meet ya's thursday. Ta nodrog and DeMouNTeD for helping me sort bike out.

After going over Kaimai's I now know why 748/916's are rarely used at night. I think Ducati put in a headlight designed for mopeds as it's absolutely shite. Will try bunging in a new Philips visionplus bulbs.

Yup, I went through there on Thursday and we saw about 6 lots of roadworks. Most of it was between Whangamata and Kopu so that direction is pretty messy at the moment.

I was going to ride there today with Ulysses but it's wet and I'm a pansy Plus, Cajun's got the flu so he tucked up in bed too.

On another note, I think I saw Blackbird out and about on his Repsol. Is that guy a real biker or what?
