Hey Yoss... good riding with ya yesterday bud, you were a different rider by the second half of the day, that's for sure.

And to everyone else in the group - sweet ride yesterday, thanks must go to gijoe1313 & Maverick for leading us, everyone else for turning up including the 250 fan boys, and of course to the Mcjims for pissing off out of JAFA land so we had an excuse to ride and abuse their hospitality. (Not to mention the fact we'll probably have to do it again... BUGGER!)

Personally, only downside to yesterday was before the ride when Justin and I were on the pre-ride ride, and a sparrow or something of similar mass decided to use me as a form of braking whilst the mighty ZZR was hurtling me out past Clevedon at 110km/h. Fuck that hurt, still at least it probably hurt the bird more...

Donor: So ya glad you're a Biker?

    Minnie: F**k yeah!

Oh dear...there is so much I could do with this sentence, but me worried I might offend his McJimness...

Admitedly, you were looking pretty hot on that grass...and Maverick was looking pretty inspired while looking at you, so i just thought I'd defuse the situation, you know...

It was the longest and fastest I have been out on my bike and it was great expierence for me, and a big thumbs up to Donor for being tail end charlie and taking up my considerable slack.

    Great day, Cheers!
Mate, you did very well considering this was your first big ride, and it was lovely meeting a new rider.
Hope you'll come along to many more...

Thanks for coming on the ride all those that turned up!

Big thanks to John (Hellraiser) and his lovely wife Sarah for organising and watching the McWeeins so we could go for the ride. Bottle of bubbly for the lady tiz owed!

Awesome day, awesome ride and awesome company. Sorry if I burnt the meat folks, a woman should never be left in charge of a BBQ (I can cook - but BBQ's aren't my forte').

Nice to see Yossi out there getting some good experience on the roads, keep riding with us - the more you ride the less discomfort you'll suffer (if you're not riding regularly).

Great ride, will have to do some more rides before we dissapear from Aucks.

Looking forward to seeing some pic's from the day Gijoe1313/aka Justin!

Finally getting around to processing photos from the ride! Sheesh, people must have forgotten what they must have seen from yesterday already!

Hold yer horses and gimme a little bit o'time! Now, where did that camera go...

    Okay okay, here they be!

Pic 1 : Donor and I did a pre-ride ride so we could scout out the road conditions in case we had to prepare for newbie noobs!

Pic 2 : The BP gathering spot, plenty of KB arse to look at some better to look at then others ... you be the judge in the rest of the photos!

Pic 3 : blah blah ride to Waihi blah blah slow pissant group to Kaiua blah blah arse rhubarb custard mutter mumble we're off soon

Pic 4 : His Nibs, big Scottish bloke on an Eyetie bike doing his spiel about keeping it real and making sure knees down are legit ones.

Pic 5 : Ooh, finally before the twisties of Kaiaua gorge - fun fun fun! Hmmm seems like a lot of bikers ... standing around, and not riding ... odd that, most of the photos seem to have them that way!

Pic 6 : Didya know that there was more talking of shite and standing around looking feckless?

    More photos to come...

And some more photos of fickle follies of a two wheeled kind

And .... ah bugger it you know the drill...

Pic 1 : And here we have an odd assortment of likely suspects, can you spot the wee widdly whacker outside the girl's locker room? Can you vouchsafe the light fingered monkey boy that steals men's underwear from washing lines? There is a questionable hobbyist who likes to sniff used calving gloves and also an addict who prefers to touch roadkills with their nose!

Pic 2 : The famous Top Gun Maverick and his new neophyte hanging onto his every word of wisdom, as he describes and demonstrates the famous "Kaiua Gorge Low Side from Decreasing Hairpin Uphill Lefthander manuever"

Pic 3 : Ooh I do recall someone saying "$2 for this piece of fish!?" Much ginger beer downed and the famous Spankme turned up (he was not pictured since the glare from his dome interfered with the shot)

Pic 4 : "Now that's some finger licking good!" "er...you do realise you didn't wash your hands after you left the toilet ya know!"

Pic 5 : Ooh, forgot to include pic of Chickadee and colour co-ordinated minions from the Kaiaua gorge bit, enjoy you manky mongrels perusing pictures posted!

Pic 6 : There isn't any see next post

Blah Oh fer gawd's sake, there's even more frikk'n boring pics?

There was a funny ride out to Kopu, down to Paeroa and eventually wending our merry way back to the Hunuas. Here's some visually occular representations in a pixellated form that may be pleasing to your receptors.

    Or not.

    Please yourself or not!

Pic 1 : And here we have ladles and jellyspoons, Lot number 87 - a fine collection of two wheeled conveyances designed to preambulate one's person around in an upright and forwardly going manner, any bids?

Pic 2 : Notice the indentations of various insectoid anatomies on screens, wide strips of poultry present on rubber spherical objects and the lack of care paid to maintenance, cleaning...

Pic 3 : Ooh, more arse! Notice the loos in the background, well known for a quick bit of illegal, underaged, same-sex nookie...

Pci 4 : Zut alors! It iz zee cliched zhot of zee bottle with el plonker capitanos in front no?

Almost finished with zee er, I mean the random as photo menagerie of malicious malfeasance and malingering musings of a most mottled and mixed motivation...

Nice ride. Nice food too Very enjoyable. I'm slowly getting my confidence back

On the way home form McJim's me and babyblade stopped for a bit to discuss the route, and some munter on a CBR250 pulled up behind us. He was going on about stunts etc. Once we started riding, the fulla was doing all sorts of crazy shit - was pretty impressive, but probably not the place for it since it was pretty crowded!

Count your blessings - at least He didn't force you wide and over a cliff! Sure it wasn't a munted zxr250?

But yeah - time and a place. If only he would learn.

My wifes comment while reading the thread over my shoulder... "He's kidding right".

...When I read it, I was more concerned with whether or not he'd remembered to tell them to stop. All that chopping late at night, I can just see the noise control complaint now !
