    Where you thinking of going?

Won't know for sure till the morning but, here's hoping.

It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

In the paper on Sunday. 47yo on a bike vs a ute. Napier Rd, HN.
Read it and thought 'Don't know him, but bound to know someone who did' - sorry Robert, you worked with the guy?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Sorry to gate crash your threads, apparently hit a ute from behind, which was turning, down Napier Road, towards the Mangatertere end.
There is a lesson from this for all of us.

Always learn something from this sort of thing. So, one of them wasn't paying attention? I have to admit that knowing the road, I thought it was probably the ute pulling out of an orchard without checking. Happens all too often, as we know.

    From the NZ Herald.
A motorcyclist died in a collision with a ute at Havelock North on Saturday. Hastings police said Andrew Scott-Kerr, 47, of Hastings, was killed about 1pm on Napier Rd.

Mr Scott-Kerr's pillion passenger suffered minor injuries. The driver of the ute was not hurt.

    Name rings a bell..........damn, RIP.

That was my inital thought as well, but it takes a while to get the real story, and I am still not sure we have it yet, the ute is owned by one of our companies suppliers.
Andrew worked here as well (H-W), an engineer, well respected.
